Thank you for your interest in my painting and allowing me to tell you a little about my self and what influences my work. I use to work for myself, but several years ago I quit and went to work for God. It may sound a little corny to some, but when you experience tangible results in your life its hard not to be convinced. My job today is to point others, using what ever talents I have in his direction, so that they too might experience life on a grand scale. In my case I had to go through some extremely difficult periods to even be open to the possibility that there may be a force capable of helping me on a personable level. But when I did, things began to turn around. Progress was slow in the beginning, but I persevered and it has paid off more than I could have hoped for. I wouldn’t be opening myself up like this in such a public way unless I knew he would do the same for others, if only they would sincerely ask for his help. For the skeptics, give prayer a try, what have you got to lose. It’s not necessary to confide with anyone, just do it and wait. In my painting “Faith and Hope” it depicts two Koi swimming side by side some distance from the noise of their world. It’s during the storms that one needs hope and its God’s spirit that enables one to have faith. My experience has been trial, miracle, trial, miracle, trial, miracle, refining my character and increasing my faith. What is the fruit of this change? Not only hope and faith, but love and mercy. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
